Frostfang started couphing one morning. "Mommy whats wrong?? Your couphing a whole bunch!" Nightkit wailed. "Its--Ok --Night--" Frostfang stammered before she fainted. "Quick Snowkit and Horizonkit get Embertail or someone and hurry!!" Nightkit wailed. "OH Critterkit and Icekit stay with me we dont want to lose our mom after we just lost our dad!!" Nightkit added. "Yes Nightkit, come on Horizonkit lets try and find Embertail!" SNowkit said softly.

Horizankit followed after her sibling. "Bearpaw wheres embertail?" she squealed. "Idont know but, whats wrong?" he asked worried. "Frostfang has gots a very bad cough. " she tried to say it right. "Oh dear Starclan!" Bearpaw wailed. Bearpaw quickly grabbed some catmint and rushed over tot he nursery. "Both of you stay there!" he yowled back to them. Bearpaw went inside and grabbed the two other kits and brought them back to the med. cat den. "Stay here! Your mom has a very dangerous csickness. I don't want you kits getting sick." he said very strictly. He rushed back to the nursery and chewed up the catmint. He put some of it in his paw and drizzledit inside of Frostfang's mouth. He moved her jaw in a formation to chew it and then helped her swallow it. Bearpaw got another queen to take care of Frostfang's kits. " Nightkit, Horizankit, Icekit, Critterkit, and Snowkit, go over to the elders den in a minute." Bearpaw said while going back to his den. Bearpaw examined the kits and found no sign of sickness, except for, Horizankit. "All of you go to the elders den except for Horizankit." Bearpaw nudged the kits and kept Horizankit. The other kits walked off towards the lder den. Bearpaw then dragged frostfang's body to the med. cat den. Bearopaw then fed Horizankit some catmint. "Horizankit you need rest please sleep like your mother." bearpaw ordered. "Okay Bearpaw." Horizankit coughed weakly.

"Hmph I missing all the action! Its not fair we should be with our mother so we can take care of her!" Nightkit mewed subornly. "Nightkit you dont want to get that sickness do you?" Snowkit whispered. "I know what it is! I saw a Queen get it last moon. Its called Greencouph." Nightkit explained. "But its deadly isnt it?" Snowkit asked.

"Go to the elders den immediatly. Now!" Bearpaw strictly shouted. He then went back to his herbs and Frostfang/ Horizankit.

Nightkit hissed at Bearpaw (shes in a really bad mood) "Hmph like I care what you tell me!" She then ran off to the elders den followed by her sister. "I dont think you should speak to a medicine cat that way Nightkit." SNowkit said. "He's only a medicine cat apprentice! I dont have to listen to him yet! I mean he's so bossy!" Nightkit insisted. "Or your just stubborn!" Snowkit hissed running off ahead of Nightkit. Nightkit just stood there Snowkit hadnt back talked her before they where so close. "Shes growing out of it" Nightkit hissed under her breath.
Frostfang woke up with a startle. "Where are my kits!!" She yowled. She got up looking franticly around the nursery."Where are they? Where are they? I dont want to lose them too!" She yowled again.
~she doesnt know know they went to the elders den, shes also a little loopy and Kookoo right now~

Bearpaw sighed heavily. He turned at the sound of Frostfang's voice. "Frostfang, calm down. Your kits are being tooken care of by the elders. Horizankit and you have greencough and I need to make sure it doesn't spread. Now please calm down and please sleep. And please don't startle Horizankit, she is healing." Bearpaw informed Frostfang.

Frostfang obeyed. "Sorry Bearpaw its just after losing Smogclaw its been hard for me. Please forgive me." Frostfang mewed softly staring at Horizonkit ~she spotted her~ "Her and her dad where so close and I mean so close I never got to actually know Horizonkit..." She trailed off staring at Horizonkit still with wide confused/sad eyes. Then she snuggled up next to Horizonkit and drifted into daydream.
Nightkit didnt go to the elders den just sat in the clearing eyeing Bearpaw everytime he walked past. "I cant trust him!" She hissed under her breath. Just then she wasnt in camp anymore. She was in the sky with cats with stars on their pelt's surrounding her. "Nightkit your time is coming, you will be ready." The cats spoke. "Be ready for what?" Just then Nightkit woke up in the clearing. Seeing Bearpaw she looked at him watching his every move.
~Could starclan come to Bearpaw and tell him that Nightkit needs to be a medicine cat apprentice? (since Ember isnt here...)

Bearpaw tended to Frostfang and Horizankit. Then he saw out of the corner of his eye, Nightkit. Bearpaw strutted out of his den and picked Nightkit up by the scruff and dropped her in the elders den. He then went back to his den and laid down tired and beat up.
~ Sure. But, just in case. Nightkit will be Bearpaw's apprentice secretly.~

Nightkit huffed. "He's so rude!" She said aloud. Then pranced back into the clearing stubbornly. "I'm not moving Bearpaw! I dont care what you say you'r not the leader!" Nightkit hissed.
Snowkit was very mad at Nightkit. Why is she acting this way? She said to herself. I'll never ever become as brave as Nightkit... Snowkit added to herself.

Okay, now Bearpaw was being held on a short leash. His temper grew at the sight of Nighkit in the clearing. Bearpaw walked out in front of Nightkit and hissed in warning for her last chance. He grabbed her by the scruff and dropped her far back in the den.

Nightkit was so angry she couldnt believe he was doing this to her. "So much for a medicine cat! Your so mean arent medicine cats sopposed to be nice like Embertail?!? Jeez lighten up a little." Nightkit yelled before Bearpaw left her sight.

Nightkit stared into his flaring eyes not even flinching. "Um ya know Bearpaw I've been getting these signs from starclan I think they have been telling me I would become something I never dreamed of. Do you know what that means?" Nightkit asked forgetting the whole arguement.

Bearpaw losing his temper was not a good sign. But, when he heard the word dream and sign together he quickly thought for a moment. "I will speak to Starclan only if you go to the Elders den." he then calmed down and the flames that burned extinguished.

"Well okey....but do I have to go to the elder's den?? I mean they sometimes bore me...could I go to ummm somewhere else? OH could you tell me soon I mean I have been having that dream since I was like born it seems like well I dunno. I dont want to be in some phrophecy thats all...." Nightkit didnt mind that Bearpaw was mad at her or that he calmed down. She wasnt scared at him. So she sat and waited for an answer getting ready to turn around into the elder's den.

Bearpaw stared at the she-cat in disbelif. "I shall check tonight and let you know tommorow. Now, about the Elder's den. I guess you can stay in the apprentices den." he said not knowing if that was the right thing to do.

"Oh thanks so much Bearpaw!" Nightkit thanked licking his chest affectionelly. She then ran off to the apprentices den to see what was happening there.'
Snowkit was listening and watching the whole conversation with Bearpaw and Nightkit. She could tell by Bearpaw's expression he didnt believe it more then she did. "This is amazing!" Snowkit said under her breath. Then she felt jealosey swell up in her.

Bearpaw then saw Snowkit peering her little head out of the Elder's den. "Snowkit, PLease come here and talk to me. Whats bothering you?" Bearpaw said understanding the whole jealousy issue.
